These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the use of devondiscountsofas.co.uk (the “Site”). This Site is owned and operated by Devon Discount Sofas. This Site is an ecommerce website.

By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.

Warranty / Returns Policy

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the goods are returned in their original condition and packaging.

Goods must be packaged in the original packaging. A charge of £75 will be applied to cover the cost of collection.

If the original packaging is not present, a deduction of up to 50% may be made from the refund to reflect any reduction in value.

Please ensure you are satisfied with your chosen product before purchasing. Refunds or exchanges will not be authorised based on price differences found after delivery has been accepted.

Damaged Goods

Any damages must be reported within 24–48 hours of receipt of goods. All items must be repackaged sufficiently for collection or exchange.

Customers are advised to inspect all items before signing for delivery. Signing as “received in good condition” confirms acceptance unless otherwise noted.

In some cases, we may require photographic evidence or further inspection before confirming a fault.

Guarantee

All products supplied by Devon Discount Sofas include a 12-month guarantee from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects under normal domestic use.

The guarantee applies to faults in materials or workmanship, including structural issues and mechanisms where applicable.

We reserve the right to assess any reported fault before agreeing to a repair, replacement or other resolution. This may involve requesting photographic evidence or liaising with our suppliers.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will determine the most appropriate solution, which may include repair, replacement or an alternative remedy.

The guarantee does not cover:

• General wear and tear
• Accidental damage, misuse or neglect
• Damage caused by failure to follow care instructions
• Commercial or non-domestic use
• Natural variations in materials, colour or finish

Intellectual Property

All content published and made available on our Site is the property of Devon Discount Sofas and the Site’s creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents and downloadable files.

Accounts

When you create an account on our Site, you agree that:

1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password; and
2. All personal information you provide is accurate and up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts used unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.

Sale of Goods

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods available on our Site.

We supply furniture products. We are under a legal duty to supply goods that match their description.

All product descriptions, images and specifications are provided as accurately as possible. However, colours, textures and finishes may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting and manufacturing variations.

We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel orders where necessary, including in cases of pricing or product description errors. If payment has been processed, a full refund will be issued.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

Payments

We accept payment by Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable amount. We reserve the right to cancel transactions if fraud or illegal activity is suspected.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery typically takes between 7–21 days but timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including supplier or logistics issues.

In some cases, your order may be fulfilled and delivered directly by one of our trusted suppliers. Devon Discount Sofas remains your point of contact for all customer service and support.

Delivery charges apply and are currently £65 unless stated otherwise.

Customers must provide accurate delivery details. We are not responsible for failed delivery due to incorrect information.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate access for delivery, including doorways, hallways and staircases. We are not liable if delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions.

Failed deliveries due to absence or access issues may result in additional delivery charges.

Right to Cancel and Receive Reimbursement

If you are a UK or EU customer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason.

The cancellation period ends 14 days after delivery of the goods.

If goods have been delivered, they must be returned at your expense. You are responsible for ensuring goods are returned in suitable condition.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods or proof of return.

Refunds

Refund requests must be made within 14 days of receipt.
