Refunds & Returns

At Devon Discount Sofas, we aim to make the returns process as simple and straightforward as possible. Please read the information below carefully before requesting a return.

Your Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us within this period by contacting:

Returning Your Item

If you choose to return your order:

• Items must be returned within 14 days of notifying us
• Goods must be in their original condition and packaging
• You are responsible for ensuring the item is suitably packaged for return

We can arrange collection of your item, and a £75 collection fee will apply.

If the original packaging is not available, a deduction of up to 50% of the item value may be made to reflect any reduction in value.

Condition of Returned Goods

Returned items must:

• Be unused and in a resalable condition
• Include all original parts and packaging
• Not be damaged after delivery

We reserve the right to make deductions from your refund if the goods show signs of use, damage or are not returned in their original condition.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected:

• Refunds will be processed within 14 days
• Refunds will be made using your original payment method
• Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault:

• You must notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery
• Please provide photos showing the issue
• Do not dispose of packaging until the issue is resolved

We may require further inspection or liaise with our supplier before confirming a resolution.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer:

• Repair
• Replacement
• Or an appropriate alternative solution

Non-Returnable Situations

We are unable to accept returns in the following circumstances:

• Items returned without original packaging (subject to deductions)
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect or improper care
• General wear and tear
• Items used in commercial settings
• Products returned outside the 14-day return window

Amending or Cancelling Orders

If you need to amend or cancel your order:

• Please contact us as soon as possible
• Changes may not be possible once your order has been processed or dispatched
• Any changes may affect delivery times or pricing

Supplier Fulfilment

In some cases, your order may be delivered directly from one of our trusted suppliers. This does not affect your return rights.

Devon Discount Sofas will remain your point of contact for arranging returns, refunds or resolving any issues.

Important Information

• Delivery charges are non-refundable once delivery has been completed
• Returned items remain your responsibility until they are received by us
• We recommend retaining proof of return
